Android OS, it’s not just an OS that can be installed on mobile devices. There are some simple steps which allows you to install Android on VirtualBox with pre-installed VDI disk. After downloading the VDI from the link below (try downloading the torrent, to avoid creating unnecessary accounts), open VirtualBox, and under “Virtual hard disk”, select “Use existing hard disk” option and browse for AndroidLive01.vdi from extracted folder.
Here is a short description of the steps:
- Download Android Pre Installed VDI for VirtualBox
- Extract the files.
Go to VirtualBox and create new Virtual machine with following configuration:OS – Linux
Version – Linux 2.6 or Oracle or Other
Memory – 512MB
Video Memory: 12MB or more
IO APCI: Enabled
- Under virtual hard disk, select Use existing hard disk option and browse for AndroidLive01.vdi from extracted folder
