MoreLocale2 let’s you select more locales, if they’ve been removed from the rom that you’re using, or if the official ROM doesn’t contain your locale, in which case you need to manually add yours.
But if you don’t want to install a new application, here’s how to add the default locales:
- Download the default locales (it’s an xml file) from here
- Connect with adb to your phone, and enter the following command:[bash]cat /proc/cmdline[/bash]
- Copy the displayed CID
- Rename default.xml to REPLACE_WITH_YOUR_CID.xml
Put the renamed file to the root of C drive and use the following command to push the file to phone
[bash]push C:/REPLACE_WITH_YOUR_CID.xml /system/customize/CID/REPLACE_WITH_YOUR_CID.xml[/bash]
- Wipe data and boot up the phone
